Excelsior RAM 359 |
| On the 18th March W Bro Derek Horrocks was Installed in the Commanders Chair of Excelsior RAM Lodge 359 in fine style by W Bro Andrew Whittle the IMP. |

| As many will know that W Bro Derek is the PGMs Special Representative for the Garston group of Loges. Even as a very devoted hard working Mason including a number of degrees he has still found time, to take the Commanders Chair of this great Lodge. |
| In attendance representing the Provincial Grand Master was W Bro John Forster, who is a friend of W Bro Derek's and Special Representative for the Fylde Coast. |

| At the completion of the Installation W Bro John congratulated all concerned for a fine ceremony (he should know, because he is very good at ritual himself). |
| A cheque of £ 200 was presented on behalf of the lodge, to West Lancashire Mark Charity fund, to be ring-fenced for contribution towards the Prostate cancer testing, prior to and following the Provincial Grand Mark Lodge meeting on the 3rd May at Southport. |

| The Installation meeting was followed by a very enjoyable festive board. The members present all appeared to have a great day as the majority belong to another two orders that meet on the same day thus forming a 3 in 1. |
The only down-side for John Forster was the fact that his front near-side wheel developed a puncture, which he had to change in the rain in his shirt sleeves. Not a good thing, because he was looking forward to getting home, and watch a Rugby match. |
